Our History
Corsodyl launched our first product containing chlorhexidine digluconate in 1975 in Germany, and since 1989 this active ingredient, chlorhexidine digluconate, has been widely used in the treatment of gum disease. Over the years we have developed a comprehensive range of medicated products including mouthwashes (0.2% w/v mouthwash) and a dental gel (1% w/w), to offer effective short term treatment for gingivitis.

HOW CORSODYL TREATMENT PRODUCTS WORK
Our Corsodyl treatment products contain chlorhexidine digluconate, this has an antibacterial action, which not only kills the plaque bacteria that can cause gum disease, but also provides long lasting protection against plaque build-up. It is suitable for use at home to treat gum disease and for use after dental surgery.
